Participate in a Trial

Geelong Satellite Clinic

Participate in a clinical trial and get paid up to $600/day for your time

To make it easier for you to participate in our clinical trials, you can now attend your screening and follow-up visits at our new clinic in central Geelong.

This means that you only have to travel to Melbourne for the inpatient part of the study.

Participating in a clinical study at our Geelong clinic is easy, just follow the 4 steps below:

1. Online Registration & Phone Screening

After you register your interest online in participating in a trial, we'll arrange a time to call you for a phone screening. On this call, we'll go through some basic health questions, to ensure that we match you with the right trial.

2. Doctor's Appointment (Geelong Clinic)

Then we'll book you into a doctor's appointment at our Geelong Clinic to talk through the trial and we will also check some vitals such as height, weight and blood pressure.

3. Inpatient Stay (Melbourne Clinic)

If you're eligible, you will be invited to take part in the inpatient study at our Melbourne Clinic (near Prahran & St Kilda), where you will be dosed with the medication (or placebo) and stay for a period of time for observation. It can be as short as a couple of nights, or as long as several weeks dependent on the study.

During your stay, you can keep busy doing a range of things online using our great Wi-Fi. Stream the latest series, listen to music, game or catch up on work or study. There is also a common room with gaming consoles, pool table, books, board games and puzzles.

4. Outpatient Visit/s (Geelong Clinic)

After the inpatient stay, you'll be scheduled with follow-up outpatient visits at the Geelong Clinic. These will involve monitoring your vitals, and providing samples as well as answering questions about your general wellbeing.
