Screening Reimbursement

As a clinical trial participant, you are reimbursed for your time, travel expenses, parking, and inconvenience. This includes a reimbursement for your screening visit of $250 to $400.

If you are deemed to be ineligible after your screening visit due to a medical result, you will receive this screening reimbursement within a month of your screening appointment.

Please read these terms & conditions carefully:

• You will only be reimbursed if you are excluded due to a medical result that is independent from your direct actions (e.g. your vital signs or the lab values of your blood sample are out of range for the study)
• You will not be reimbursed if your exclusion is related to any medical history that you failed to disclose during the phone screening. It is of vital importance for your health and the success of the trial that you are honest and transparent about your medical history at all times
• You will not be reimbursed if your exclusion is due to a positive test for alcohol, nicotine or other drugs of abuse (e.g. marijuana)
• You will not be reimbursed if your exclusion is due to a failure to comply with the study requirements (e.g. you didn't refrain from strenuous exercise). These requirements will be clearly explained in the Participant Information and Consent Form that you will receive prior to your screening appointment
• The screening reimbursement is included within the overall study reimbursement
• The value of the screening reimbursement depends on the study for which you screen. This information is included in the Participant Information and Consent Form that you will receive prior to your screening appointment
