This study is an ongoing evaluation of a new potential treatments to address agitation and behavioural challenges linked to Dementia, and addiction to substances, such as Opioids, Methamphetamine or Alcohol. Currently, there are limited approved treatment options for those suffering with these disorders and their families.
The study will assess the safety, tolerability, and how the medication works in healthy volunteers. This initial phase is an important first step before it can be tested in individuals experiencing symptoms such as agitation linked to Dementia, or substance addiction.

Biological Sex Female or Male
Age 65-79 years old
BMI 18 - 32kg/m²
Medical History No significant medical history
Smoking History Non-smokers or smoking less than 10 cigarettes per week
