Study Objective:
- The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of a potential new treatment for systemic sclerosis (SSc) which is a rare, serious lung disease characterized by high blood pressure in the lungs & arteries, which can lead to heart failure if untreated.
- SSc is typically caused by an excess build-up of collagen. Collagen provides strength and structure to your skin, muscle, bones and connective tissue. This excess build-up of collagen is known as fibrosis.
