The Inflammation Study (MAD)

Study Objective:

• The study drug is a potential new treatment for Cystic fibrosis (CF).
• Cystic Fibrosis progressive, usually fatal genetic disease associated with severe morbidity and a shortened lifespan.
• It is hoped to be effective than the current treatments that are available and has fewer side
  effects.

Importance of Treatment:

• There is just over 3,600 people living with cystic fibrous in Australia, with no current cure and
  few effective treatments available.

The trial has been approved by an independent ethics committee and eligible participants will be reimbursed for their time.
