The purpose of this study is to investigate a potential new vaccine for shingles, a skin rash that causes pain and blistering.

Shingles can cause long-term nerve pain called postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). PHN can last for months or years after the rash clears and can interfere with daily life.

Current treatments have limited success, making prevention through vaccination even more important.

This clinical trial has been approved by an independent ethics committee, and you will be reimbursed for your time.
