Purpose: to evaluate the safety and tolerability of a potential new drug that could advance the treatment for calcium oxalate kidney stones.
Study Objective: This study is investigating a medication designed to reduce the formation of kidney stones.
Importance of Treatment: Timely and appropriate treatment of kidney stones is essential to prevent serious health issues and maintain overall kidney function.
Study Procedures: follow dietary restrictions, urine collection, daily diary entries, self-administered dosing
This study has 1 screening appointment, 1 screen 24-hour urine collection, 4 inpatient stays of 2 days and 1 night & 7 outpatient visits + telephone calls.
History or medical records of kidney stones that are calcium oxalate.
Reimbursement for study participation will be provided for time and travel of up to $9,506.50.
