Purpose: to evaluate the safety and tolerability of a potential new drug that could advance the treatment for calcium oxalate kidney stones.

Study Objective:
This study is investigating a medication designed to reduce the formation of kidney stones.

Importance of Treatment:
Timely and appropriate treatment of kidney stones is essential to prevent serious health issues and maintain overall kidney function.

Study Procedures: follow dietary restrictions, urine collection, daily diary entries, self-administered dosing

This study has 1 screening appointment, 1 screen 24-hour urine collection, 4 inpatient stays of 2 days and 1 night & 7 outpatient visits + telephone calls.

History or medical records of kidney stones that are calcium oxalate.

Reimbursement for study participation will be provided for time and travel of up to $9,506.50.

Eligibility

Age: 18-75
Participants: Adults with history of kidney stones
BMI: 18-38 kg/m2
Medical History: Must have a documented history of kidney stones (calcium oxalate)
Compensation: Up to $9,506.50
Study duration: 1 screening appointment, 1 screen 24-hour urine collection, 4 inpatient stays of 1 night and 2 days, 7 outpatient visits + telephone calls
