T2D is a complex condition that can affect the entire body. Part 2 of the study focuses on how the drug is metabolised in the body of participants who currently have Type 2 Diabetes.

The study drug is a powder that is taken orally after being mixed with a solution. The drug is designed to activate an enzyme that could reduce the complications caused by T2D. In this study, the powder form of the drug will be compared to a capsule form, in order to see whether the capsule is as effective as the powder.
